- The location "Valley of the Gods" is visually modeled on Monument Valley, Utah.
Description[]
The Lair is the eroded remnant of an extinct volcano in a remote, desert location (though it snows in winter). It is seen in the opening shots and when the helicopter takes off to go on missions
- The first time we see Dominic Santini trying to fly into it with a helicopter, and it fade to black [2]
Going In
- Dominic Santini and Stringfellow Hawke drive to it in a jeep from Santini Air when they go on missions in Airwolf

An outside entrance leads into a large cave where Airwolf rests on the ground when inactive. There is a ring of light that show up when, Airwolf become active
As it is hollow, light occasionally streams down onto Airwolf.
