A dis-used volcano in a remote, desert location (although it snows in winter), it is seen in the opening shots of Airwolf and when the helicopter takes off to go on missions

The entrance leads into a large cave where Airwolf is sitting. You can see some light streaming down from the opening at the top of the Lair onto the top of the helicopter.
