Tommy is a character who makes a one-time appearance in the Season 2 episode titled "The American Dream".
Tommy is the son of Diem, a Vietnamese immigrant farmer who owns a produce farm in Central Valley, California. His father Diem has decided to defy the extortion demands of Tranh Van Zung, a former Vietnamese Air Force colonel who now owns a crop dusting air service. Zung expects protection money from all the Vietnamese farmers. Without payment, the farmers will not be allowed to harvest their crop and bring it to market. But Diem refuses to pay and proceeds to harvest his produce and drives it to market in a truck accompanied by Tommy. On the way, Ko, one of Zung's thugs flies over Diem's produce truck in his crop-duster. He sprays the truck with gasoline and then throws a incendiary bomb, blowing it up. Both Diem and Tommy are killed.
